  무엇이든지 어릴 때 배우면 그 지식이 기초가 되어서 커가면서 든든하게 세워질 수 있습니다. 이때에는 오직 이 지식을 배우려는 열정만 넘치고 비평하는 의식도 자리 잡기 전이기에 조기교육은 내용에 상관없이 참으로 중요합니다. ​ 성경에 대한 교육도 조기교육이 중요합니다. 다만 주일에 선생님에게만 맡길 게 아니라 엄마가 가르치는 것이 더 효율적입니다. 다만 엄마가 이 성경교육에 대하여 어느 정도 간절한지, 가르쳐야 할 필요성을 얼마나 느끼는지, 일방적으로 가르쳐야 하는지, 둉영상을 활용해야 하는지, 얼마나 알아들었는지, 얼마나 믿고 있는지,얼마나 적용하여서 알고 있는지는 각자 다릅니다. ​ 이번에 내 안에 교회에서 엄마와 34개월 된 유아의 대화 형식으로 천지창조를 가르치는 영상을 만들어봤습니다. ​ 여기 영상 속의 유아의 사진과 동영상은 엄마의 동의하에 이루어졌습니다. 엄마가 아이에게 가르치는 성경 천지창조교육   ​ 이 영상을 만들면서 몇 가지가 자연스레 생각납니다. ​ 1. 저도 아이를 3명이나 키워봤지만 자녀를 선생님에게 맡기는 게 쉽지, 내 아이에게 무엇인가 지식을 전달하기는 감정이 예민해지고, 극도로 긴장해지기 때문에 정말로 어렵습니다. 일단 한 문장만 가더라도 나의 스트레스받는 잔소리와 아이의 딴짓이 반사적으로 나옵니다. ​ 2. 한편으로는 주입식으로 지시하면서 가르치면 일단 나는 편합니다. 아이가 듣는 모습이 괜찮으면 잘 듣고 잘 이해하였다고 내가 그냥 믿습니다. 그런데 물어보면 잘 모르거나 기억나는 단어 한두 개만 말할 뿐입니다. 주입식은 깊이가 언제나 부족함을 느낍니다. ​ 3. 여기 유아는 34개월 되었습니다. 이전부터 천지창조에 대한 이야기를 아주 많이 들었을 것이고, 아는 단어도 많습니다. 엄마의 절제되며 부드러운 분위기 속에서 아이도 자연스럽게 단어를 나열합니다. ​ 4. 인위적으로 짜 맞춘 느낌이 전혀 들지 않고, 통으로 편집하였고, 유아가 ' 이 단어는 전에 엄마가 말했잖아!!'에서 빵!! 터졌습니다. 어느...
